Qatar have relocated three upcoming World Cup 2022 warm-up games from Austria to Hungary. The Qatar Football Association (QFA) revealed that Debrecen will host the games due to Covid-19 travel constraints.

The QFA originally planned to hold training camp in Austria, to play Luxembourg and Azerbaijan in Vienna. Plans had to change due to travel restrictions between Austria and Ireland.

As the host nation, Qatar automatically qualifies but were invited by UEFA to get match practice in the European qualifiers. Qatar join Group A with Portugal, Serbia, Ireland, Luxemburg, and Azerbaijan. They will play Luxembourg March 24, Azerbaijan March 27, and Ireland March 30.
