Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey backs Nigeria’s #ENDSARS protest, calls for Bitcoin donations

Nigerian youths, both home and abroad over the past week, have been protesting against police brutality, which has been prevalent for decades.

In a recent tweet, Jack Dorsey, Chief executive of Twitter, supported the ongoing #EndSARS protest, urging all parties concerned to support the cause and donate via Bitcoin. 

He tweeted, “Donate via Bitcoin to help #EndSARS,” and also retweeted a tweet from the Feminist Coalition informing people of the various ways they can send in contributions. 

Over the past week, many Nigerian’s have taken to the street to protest against police brutality, which has been ongoing for decades.

Dorsey is one of many prominent people who have supported the protest such as Piers Morgan, John Boyega, Kanye West, Mesut Ozil and more.
